Relocation of library and Doncare

With the redevelopment of Westfield Doncaster, the Doncaster Branch Library is set to temporarily relocate to a new modular building adjacent to the Scout Hall in Hummell Way at the rear of the Council Offices on 12 January.

The existing Doncaster Branch at Westfield will close at 8pm on 12 January 2007, and the library will reopen at the temporary premises on 20 January 2007. It will remain there until a new library facility is completed as part of the Westfield redevelopment.

Doncaster Community Care and Counselling Centre (Doncare) is also being relocated as part of the redevelopment, and will be based in the former Aged and Disability Support Services office at 8 Montgomery Street, Doncaster East.
