Community information session on proposed boundary adjustment12 February 2009The Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) is proposing a minor adjustement to the Doncaster Hill Principal Activity Centre boundary, to include a number of additional commercial properties, adjacent to the municipal offices. The properties proposed to be included within the boundary are a group of six shops at 745-755 Doncaster Road, and a currently empty site at 757 Doncaster Road. The proposed boundary has been developed by DPCD, taking into account Council's Doncaster Hill Strategy and the centre's existing identified precincts. DPCD is also reviewing the boundaries for the Camberwell Junction, Coburg, Central Geelong and Preston (High Street) Activity Centre's to ensure they are established to a consistent set of criteria. A community information session is to be held by DPCD on Wednesday 25 February 2009. Interested residents are invited to attend between 6.00pm and 8.00pm in Function Room 3, Manningham Civic Offices, 699 Doncaster Road, Doncaster, to speak with officers from DPCD.
