Devlopment Assessment Committee discontinued

Manningham City Council has been advised by the Department of Planning and Community Development that the Development Assessment Committee (DAC) appointed in October last year under prevous State Government, will be replaced by a Planning Referral Authority (PRA). The Government is currently considering how to best implment the PRAs.

The Minister for Planning, Matthew Guy, has recommended to the Governor in Council that members of the DAC be removed and the Order establishing the Committee be revoked, and has written to members advising them of his recommendation.
