Precinct 5 encompasses properties abutting Williamsons Road, on the west side between Sovereign Point Court and Doncaster Road and features existing high-density residential developments such as Sovereign Point and The Crest Apartments. It also includes Doncaster Shoppingtown Hotel and areas of open space to the south. It has impressive panoramic views of the city skyline to the west - and spectacular sunsets. Future high-density development will be focused along Williamsons Road to capitalize on the outstanding views, with smaller scale development sloping down the hill to the west. The precinct will be enhanced through improved open space and pedestrian networks with stronger links to Shoppingtown, public transport interchanges, and nearby parkland.
