Precinct 6

Precinct 6 includes the area north of Doncaster Road between the Eastern Golf Course and Carnarvon Street, up to and including the properties on both sides of Firth Street. It is the site of the pivotal gateway landmark to the north of Doncaster Road that defines the western edge of Doncaster Hill, and offers easy access to the Eastern Freeway. The precinct currently has a strong commercial/light industrial character, especially along Doncaster Road. The vision is to create an attractive mixed-use village, with medium density commercial development giving way to medium density housing towards the rear of the precinct. The area will be enhanced through easy access to public transport, open space networks and neighbouring precincts.
